This UNIQUE event will be based in a beautiful coastal resort town in Central Greece called Kamena Vourla. This waterfront town is less than 2 hours away from the Athens International Airport (ATH), 15 minutes from Thermopylae (the legendary battle site in the movie 300), and 30 minutes away from the Prefecture’s Capital City of Lamia. The entire Event is a 7-days/6-nights program limited to 45 swimmers per week.
Our host hotel will be the Mitsis Galini Wellness SPA & Resort which is a five-star beach front hospitality establishment located at the heart and boardwalk of this charming resort town. The program’s activities will focus in adding value to each and every participant’s skills and also introduce them to the area’s history and culture while having fun.
Each day, boats will take us on a 15-minute sail from our seafront resort location to the nearby islands of Lichadonisia, also known as the “Greek Bahamas”. There we will engage in improving your technique (use also video analysis) and physical condition (strength & conditioning – yoga, etc.). We will apply all that while swimming for a few hours in crystal clear turquoise waters rich in sea life and home to a few monk seals. The anticipated water temperature during this period is about 69°F or 21°C.
However what makes this program unique is the incorporation of visits and excursions to close by historical locations of a worldwide interest like Marathon and cultural places included in the Unesco World Heritage Sites, such as Meteora.
Beyond the Event’s program, there are options of organizing and spending a few days in close-by islands like Skiathos (summer home of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel) and Skopelos where the (original) movie “Mamma Mia” was filmed.
The detailed daily program will be communicated to the registered participants in due time at the latest one month prior to the start of the Event

100% of fees due upon registration at the latest by February 28th, 2025.
Cancellation Policy
- 100% of fees received will be refunded for cancellations made prior to February 28th, 2025.
- There will be no refunds for registrations made after February 28th, 2025.
- Participants may transfer their spot to another participant with prior approval from Hellenic Aquatics.

- Hellenic Aquatics reserves the right to refuse participation to a particular individual
