Nutritionist
Graduate Dietitian-Nutritionist from Harokopio University. Field of Bachelor’s study is “Diet, Exercise, and Longevity.” Holder of a Master’s Degree from the Agricultural University, Department of Food Technology and Human Nutrition. Master’s research study focused on the dietary habits and sports nutrition of adolescent swimmers-athletes. Active member of the national swimming team, holder of national records in the butterfly event (200 meters), participation in two Olympic Games – London 2012 – Rio 2016 -, 20-time national champion, 4 finals in European championships. Bronze Medalist in World University Games and 5 medals in Mediterranean Games.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Scientific collaborator of the Hellenic Swimming Federation
- Six years of professional practice as a Dietitian-Nutritionist, providing guidance to individuals with clinical characteristics as well as nutritional monitoring of high-level athletes from various sports (swimming, artistic swimming, water polo, track and field, canoeing, tennis, tae kwon do, etc.)
- Collaborator in Preventive Medicine and Anti-aging Medical Centers (“Orthobiotiki”, Athens Beverly Hills Medical Group)
- 6-month Internship at the Nutrition Department of Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center
- Regular speaker at various sports events
SPECIALISATION:
- In integrated-holistic management of clinical cases such as metabolic syndrome, obesity, cardiovascular diseases.
- In nutritional support for high-level athletes.
